Finished machining parts refer to the further processing of parts through a series of more refined and precise machining processes based on the initial processing to achieve higher requirements for dimensional accuracy, shape accuracy, positional accuracy and surface quality.


Specifically, it includes the following characteristics:


High-precision dimensional control: The dimensional tolerance of parts is strictly controlled within a very small range, usually reaching the micron or even nanometer level. For example, for a shaft-type part used in precision instruments, the tolerance of its diameter may be controlled within ±0.01 mm.


Perfect shape and positional accuracy: Ensure that the shape of the part is highly consistent with the design requirements, without obvious deformation or deviation. At the same time, the relative positions of each feature on the part also have extremely high accuracy. For instance, when processing a multi-hole flat plate part, the positional accuracy of each hole and the parallelism and perpendicularity between them must meet strict standards.


High-quality surface quality: The surface roughness is low, without obvious scratches, burrs, depressions or protrusions. The surface texture is uniform and consistent to reduce friction and wear and improve the corrosion resistance and fatigue strength of the part.


Complex process: It may involve multiple advanced machining technologies, such as grinding, honing, lapping, superfinishing, electrochemical machining, laser machining, etc.


Strict quality inspection: During and after the processing, high-precision measuring instruments, such as coordinate measuring machines, optical projectors, etc., will be used to conduct multiple inspections of the parts to ensure they meet the design requirements.


For example, in the aerospace field, key parts such as engine blades and turbine disks all need to undergo finish machining to ensure reliable operation in harsh working environments of high temperature, high pressure and high speed; in the electronics industry, the processing of silicon wafers during chip manufacturing also belongs to the category of finish machining, requiring extremely high precision and surface quality.
